Happy Monday Imagine Lakewood Ranch Families,
We hope you are all doing well and having a good start to your Monday.
We are two weeks from April being over and it feels like we just started. Please know that these 6 weeks left of school are so important and crucial for our students. We ask that you continue to partner with your child’s teacher by assisting with monitoring homework assignments and taking time to practice lessons learned in your child’s class. This last quarter seems very short and we want the students to continue to feel that they are being successful academically.

BOGO BOOK FAIR: OPENS ON MONDAY- Book Fair will be open all this week. Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm and Thursday from 5:00-7:00 pm.
KINDERGARTEN ROUND UP/OPEN HOUSE – Thursday, April 20th. Come and join us, visit classrooms, meet your teachers, have questions, and/or visit the book fair.
FAMILY SURVEY: We want to hear from you! Please take a couple of minutes to fill out Imagine’s Family Survey. http://survey.imagineschools.org/35
WE ARE HIRING: Do you know of a Music Teacher or Spanish/French Teacher? Looking to add different Specials/Electives for our students. If you know of any certified teacher, please contact Ms. Q
ACADEMIC SUMMER CAMP INVITATIONS: This week Academic Summer Camp Invitations will be sent to our families who registered by the April 1st deadline. Remember camp will run from June 5 to June 29 from 8:30 to 12:30.
JACKIE’S ART SUMMER CAMP: Jackie’s Art Club will be hosting their summer camp in our school this summer. Sessions are June 5-9, June 12-16, and June 19-23, Weekly sessions are $190.00. Information was sent home with our students on Friday and for more information contact Mrs. Jackie at 941-744-1741.
2022-2023 IMAGINE LWR YEARBOOKS – Imagine 2022-2023 Yearbooks may be purchased online at https://www.leonards.com until April 30th. After this date, purchases in school will be available by cash.

SELAH FREEDOM STUDENT TRAINING – Friday, May 5th-Florida State Statute 1003.42 (2)(n) requires Florida Schools (grades K-12) to provide comprehensive health education instruction on various topics. To meet the requirements of this state statute, ISLWR has partnered with Selah Freedom, a community organization whose founders have partnered with law enforcement, legislators, and influential leaders to develop their programs, which include awareness and prevention. Selah Freedom’s team will present their district-approved prevention program content to ISLWR students on Friday, May 5th. The program will equip our scholars with awareness and ways to stay safe from child abuse, exploitation, and child trafficking. This program follows an age appropriate curriculum and will be delivered during one of your child’s special classes. We want 100% of our ISLWR students to be confident in these areas and we are fortunate to have trained Selah Freedom experts to support our goal!
PAYMENT REMINDERS – Please remember that all payments must be up to date for students to be able to attend Field Trips. This includes lunches and after care payments.
23-24 BUS ROUTES and EARLY CARE/AFTER CARE REGISTRATION – Information on bus routes, early care and morning care will be sent in the May Newsletter.
23-24 OPEN HOUSE – Imagine LWR Open House for the 23-24 School Year will be Thursday, August 3rd. Students Return on Thursday, August 10th
