We hope you are all doing well and are getting ready to enjoy your 4th of July weekend.  So here we are almost a month away for our Back to School/Meet the Teacher Night.

As always keeping you updated and informed during this time, so please see the updates and reminders below.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES-School Supplies are available online on our website and at the front office.  

UNIFORMS-For the new school, year spirit shirts and school sweat pants (with school logo) will be allowed on Mondays and Fridays.  The rest of the week students must wear their polos. Remember spirit shirts have either school or shark logos.  Please see attached the 22-23 Student Dress Code.  Dress Code.docx Uniform companies are listed below. Uniform Solutions will be having selling uniforms here at our school before Open House on August 3rd 11 to 6 and August 4th 11 to 7.

BUS ROUTES-Fill out this online registration for bus registration.  Please remember that if your child rode the bus last year, they will roll over to the new school year but a registration is still required.  New bus riders, please make sure you fill out the form but know that spots on the bus are not guaranteed. MORNING CARE AND AFTER CARE-Are you interested in our morning care and after care program.  Fill out the attached form to register.  A $50.00 registration payment will be required to save your spot. Payments will be required during Open House. Updates -Morning Care is $10.00 and After Care is $15.00.

OFFICE SUMMER HOURS– Monday-Thursday, 9:00-2:00.  We will be closed on July 4th-7th.

7TH GRADE STUDENTS-Parents please remember that the TDap vaccination is required for the students entering the 7th grade.  Get this visit scheduled for your children as soon as possible.  

AUGUST will be here sooner than you know!-Imagine LWR Open House/Meet the Teacher Night will be on Thursday, August 4th from 5:00 to 7:00. School Begins-Wednesday, August 10th. We will have a food truck on site for dinner.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER WITH OUR COMPETITIVE SPORTS PROGRAM?-We are looking for volunteers to help Coach with the following sports-Cross Country, Golf, Pickleball, Basketball, Soccer, and Football.  We would love to have our parents join our team. Please email Mrs. Lori-lori.newman@imagineschools.org

LUNCH PROGRAM-Starting the new year, Manatee County will NO LONGER be providing free lunch to the schools. Breakfast will continue to be free.

Happy Friday Imagine Lakewood Ranch Families,

We hope everyone is doing well and slowly getting ready for summer as we are less than a month away. During this time, our Imagine LWR Staff will continue to be working behind the scenes to get our school and students ready for the new year.  

We have lots of exciting things coming up:  Graduation, Field Trips, FSA Assessments and lots of fun instructional events to finish a strong academic school year. As previously shared, we will have our first Academic Summer Camp here at Imagine LWR and we are very pleased to continue our support for our students during this time.

THE GIVING CHALLENGE-We want to thank all of our families who donated to the Giving Challenge. Our final total raised was $3,335 (before The Patterson Foundation match)

GRADUATION-Tuesday, May 24 is Graduation Day at Riverlife Church. Times: PK-9:30, Kindergarten 11:00, 5th grade 4:00 pm, 8th grade 6:00 pm

ACADEMIC SUMMER SCHOOL June 6-June 30
Monday-Thursday 8:30-12:30. Drop off will be from 8:00-8:30 am and pick up between 12:30-1:00 pm. Calls will be made to all of the families who registered next week.

AUGUST IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER-Imagine LWR Open House/Meet the Teacher Night will be Thursday, August 4th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. School Begins-Wednesday, August 10th

We hope everyone is doing well and staying nice and healthy.  We wanted to share some quick changes and updates for the next two weeks.
 
Updates and Reminders:
BUS 400 is back in ACTION-Mr. Jameson’s Bus Run-Bus 400 will continue to run for the rest of the school year. We are very happy to inform our families as we know how much this impacts your daily schedules and routines.

BUS 300-Bus 300, Coach Zehr’s bus-Tomorrow is the last day Bus 300 WILL NOT BE RUNNING IN THE AFTERNOON.  On Thursday it will be back to regular times.

ACADEMIC SUMMER CAMP-Family Commitment forms will be required by Friday, April 22. For us to be able to staff our camp we need to know the number of students planning to attend.  The camp is offered for grades K-8. AFTER SCHOOL BOOT CAMP-After School Boot Camp will continue to run every Tuesday and Thursday for the month of April.  This Thursday, April 14th it will not be offered since there is NO SCHOOL on Friday.

BOOK FAIR COMING SOON-Book Fair BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) will be here on April 18th-April 22nd.  It will be open every day and on Tuesday, April 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
