Good Morning Imagine LWR Families,

We hope everyone is doing well this Friday morning. Today we wanted to start by sharing our September Newsletter with some updates and reminders for this upcoming month.

SORRY FOR THE LATE NOTICE-TODAY CAROUSEL’S ICE CREAM WILL BE HERE!!!  Students are able to purchase ice cream after lunch.  Prices range from $2-$5 dollars.

Grades 1st-3rd, please see below message from the Tampa Bay Lightnings.

One of the main subsets of “Build the Thunder” is our “Equip the Thunder” program in which our Lightning Made Street Team visit area Elementary Schools, take over the P.E. classes for the day, teach the children how to play street hockey by running them through various “skills stations” and then having them play a timed scrimmage at the end of class. The instruction is provided by members of our Tampa Bay Lightning “Street Team” and is led by one of our former Lightning hockey players. The school’s PE teachers are their to support too.

Each student who participates will receive his or her own Lightning-logoed street hockey stick and ball to take home. In addition, each student will receive an autographed player card from a Lightning Alumni serving as the lead instructor that day. In addition, we donate a complete set of street hockey gear to the school.  This is a FREE Community outreach program offered by the Lightning organization.

Please know that for your child to be able to participate, they must fill out the attached waiver-The electronic waiver can be found here è https://bit.ly/SchoolVisitWaiver In addition to the waiver, the website also provides an explanation of the Equip the Thunder program so parents will be able to read what our Lightning Made Street Team plan on doing during the day of our visit.

Starts Monday, April 12th! Book Fair BOGO-Yes, it’s the BOGO one, and we know how much everyone enjoys this one.  The book fair will be delivered today and will be ready for sales and visits next week starting Monday, April 12th. Book Fair will be open at 7:00 am and close every day at 4:00 pm.  Thursday, April 8th we will be open until 6:00 pm.  Families that are online, you are welcome to come by anytime that might be easier for you and your family.
