We hope everyone had a wonderful, long weekend and that you are enjoying the beautiful weather we are having.  Not too hot, not too cold, just perfect.  This week and next week we have several events taking place, so that we want to provide the details:

FSA Testing starts this week, please see how your child’s schedule will look for these days.

3rd grade Reading Tuesday/Wednesday

• 8:15-8:25 Homeroom
• 8:30-8:45 Bathroom/Late Students
• 8:50-9:00 Instructions
• 9:10-10:30 Testing (80 minutes)

4th-8th Writing Thursday

• 8:15-8:25 Homeroom
• 8:30-8:45 Bathroom/Late Students
• 8:50-9:00 Instructions
• 9:10-11:15 Writing (120 minutes and break)

*Online students you have different days, but the time will look the same; I know your teachers have been sending you updates.

April 8th-Texas Road House Pick Up during dismissal.

April 9th-KONA ICE

Book Fair BOGO-Yes, it’s the BOGO one, and we know how much everyone enjoys this one.  The book fair will be delivered today and will be ready for sales and visits next week starting Monday, April 12th.  Book Fair will be open at 7:00 am and close every day at 4:00 pm.  Thursday, April 8th we will be open until 6:00 pm.  Families that are online, you are welcome to come by anytime that might be easier for you and your family.  Please know that online purchases are also available. Imagine Family Surveys will be online for our families this school year.  These will begin April 19th.

We hope everyone is doing well this Monday morning.  Today we wanted to keep everyone informed on the many upcoming events that we have starting in April.  

NEWSLETTER: Attached you will find our Newsletter with reminders on Fundraisers, Book Fair (BOGO TIME), Parent Action Committee meeting, and much more.  NEW APRIL.pdf 

FSA TESTING: We have also attached the testing schedule for grades 3rd-8th. Please remember that testing for these students begins the week of April 5th.  Online families please remember that the Writing Test is coming up, you are able to come either on Friday, the 9th or Monday, the 12th.  Please keep your teachers informed so we may have everything organized for when students arrive on this day. Your teachers will be providing you with more detailed information.  To all of our families with students in person and online, the students will do great.  The most important part is that they are well rested and have had a good breakfast.  We know they can do it!!! FINAL FSA Schedule for Families.pdf  Elearners Testing Letter.pdf 

GRADUATIONS:  Graduations for VPK, Kindergarten, 5th, and 8th grade will take place on Tuesday, May 25th.  More information will come in regards to times.  Our goal is to start them around 1:45 pm.

EARLY RELEASE MAY-Due to many changes with testing and events, please mark it in your calendars that Tuesday, May 25th-Thursday, May 27th, Early Release will be at 12:30.

Happy Tuesday Imagine Lakewood Ranch Families,

We are super excited that 2021 is finally here. Our teachers and staff are working very hard to start and end with a strong Semester 2 for the 20-21 school year.  We know that the start of  this school year was a hard one for everyone, but here we are; a brand new year, new expectations, and new goals. Ready to finish strong.

Cognia Accreditation-Our school is currently in the process of our Cognia Review for Accreditation.  Cognia, which used to be known as SACS/ADvanced, recertification takes place every 5 years. With Cognia’s standards-based protocols and holistic approach to accreditation and certification, your school and your students are empowered to succeed. Cognia offers accreditation, certification, assessment, professional services, and consulting to help schools drive continuous improvement. One of the components for this review is our stakeholder’s input.  Please take a couple of minutes to fill out the survey below to provide more information to our review process. If you have done one already, there is no need to do it again.

Free and Reduced Breakfast/Lunch-Breakfast will continue to be FREE. The lunch fee of $2.50 will resume in January.  It is very important that if you currently have Free and Reduced lunch you must re-apply. 

Students returning to Brick and Mortar– To our families who have students returning to in person instruction, it is important to remember to report to the front office on Wednesday, January 6th.  All consumables/books that were given at the beginning of the school year, must be brought back to school as these materials will be used at school.  Chromebooks will also be checked in and schedules will be given. 

Health Updates-Please remember that with the Holiday Break and New Years activities, we understand many gatherings may have taken place, to enjoy time with loved ones.  If your child is displaying or might have symptoms of Covid-19 please keep them home and contact the school. If you feel that your family might have had an exposure to a known positive case, please make sure you keep your child home and call the school.  Our number one priority is keeping our students and staff safe and it is crucial to work together in times like this.  If you have additional questions, please contact our Nurse, Mrs. Tiffany.  tiffany.barnett@imagineschools.org -941-750-0900 ext. 110

Selah Freedom-This week we will be having a Human Trafficking Prevention Education program, for all of our students.  Human Trafficking Education is a state wide movement to support and educate our children on how to keep them safe.  Expert trainers from Selah Freedom will be attending our school to provide age appropriate educational activities for our students.  Online components will be sent home for grades K-5. If you have any question or concerns, please feel free in contacting Ms. Quinones at selenia.quinones@imagineschools.org -941-750-0900 ext.102
