REPORT CARDS-Report cards are here at school ready for pick up.  If you have Parent Portal or Focus access you are able to view these online.

Imagine LWR Open House/Meet the Teacher Night will be on Thursday, August 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00. School Begins-Thursday, August 10th.  Imagine School at Lakewood Ranch follows the School District of Manatee School Calendar.  Click here to access our calendars.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES-School Supply lists are available online on our website or at the front office.  You will also be able to purchase them online and get them delivered at the school with the 1st Day School Supplies Company. Click here to access 🙂

UNIFORMS-Please see below information on our school uniform companies.  SpiritWear sells our Spirit Day shirts, pants, logo sweatshirts and much more.  For our school polos and some additional spirit shirts, please use Uniform Solutions.  Please know that Uniform Solutions will be here at school during Open House but you are also able to visit their store. School pants can be purchased at Target, Walmart, or your store of preference.  The most important piece is that they are khaki, blue, or black.  They can be shorts, pants, capris or skorts, but no leggings.  Please find our school’s uniform policy attached. Uniform.pdf

7TH GRADE STUDENTS-Parents please remember that the TDap vaccination is required for the students entering the 7th grade.  Get this visit scheduled for your student as soon as possible.

Happy Monday to all of our Imagine Lakewood Ranch Families.  As all of you know, the end of the school year is only a month away so for this reason we wanted to continue to keep you posted and informed of events and updates taking place.

 We want to thank all of our parents for sharing your input and feedback with our Imagine LWR Family. Please know that for next year, we are looking to update our Middle School schedule back to our 7 period schedule allowing students to have their classes every day and have less confusion with work and assignments.  This schedule will continue to focus on high, engaging levels of instruction and delivery, but not as lengthy as the block schedule. In addition, we are expanding specials/electives to all of our students K-8th with new ones. We continue to make the necessary changes/updates with your feedback and for this we thank you.

SELAH FREEDOM STUDENT TRAINING – This Friday, May 5th-Florida State Statute 1003.42 (2)(n) requires Florida Schools (grades K-12) to provide comprehensive health education instruction on various topics. To meet the requirements of this state statute, ISLWR has partnered with Selah Freedom, a community organization whose founders have partnered with law enforcement, legislators, and influential leaders to develop their programs, which include awareness and prevention. Selah Freedom’s team will present their district-approved prevention program content to ISLWR students on Friday, May 5th. The program will equip our scholars with awareness and ways to stay safe from child abuse, exploitation, and child trafficking. This program follows an age appropriate curriculum and will be delivered during one of your child’s special classes.  For more information about this program, please visit https://selahfreedom.com/prevention/ .

Happy Monday Imagine Lakewood Ranch Families,

We hope you are all doing well and having a good start to your Monday. 

We are two weeks from April being over and it feels like we just started.  Please know that these 6 weeks left of school are so important and crucial for our students. We ask that you continue to partner with your child’s teacher by assisting with monitoring homework assignments and taking time to practice lessons learned in your child’s class.  This last quarter seems very short and we want the students to continue to feel that they are being successful academically.

BOGO BOOK FAIR: OPENS ON MONDAY- Book Fair will be open all this week. Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm and Thursday from 5:00-7:00 pm.

KINDERGARTEN ROUND UP/OPEN HOUSE – Thursday, April 20th. Come and join us, visit classrooms, meet your teachers, have questions, and/or visit the book fair.

ACADEMIC SUMMER CAMP INVITATIONS: This week Academic Summer Camp Invitations will be sent to our families who registered by the April 1st deadline. Remember camp will run from June 5 to June 29 from 8:30 to 12:30.

JACKIE’S ART SUMMER CAMP: Jackie’s Art Club will be hosting their summer camp in our school this summer.  Sessions are June 5-9, June 12-16, and June 19-23,  Weekly sessions are $190.00.  Information was sent home with our students on Friday and for more information contact Mrs. Jackie at 941-744-1741.
